Introduction to Collateral Property Details

The acceptance and recording of collaterals to secure lending facilities is a common banking practice. In Spain, banks are required by the Spanish Central Bank regulations to record certain mandatory information about collateral, depending upon the type of collateral (immovable property, bank deposits, and so on). The provision for recording the mandatory additional information for different collateral types has been provided to comply with the Spanish Central Bank regulations.
