Introduction to Temenos Sweeping Foundation
Account Sweeping is an automated process that enables banks to transfer funds between two or more individual accounts or within a cash pool of accounts based on a pre-defined set of sweeping rules, optimising liquidity in both retail and corporate banking environments.
The Temenos Transact Sweeping Foundation offers a base package of functionality for retail and corporate users to define, setup and implement sweeping rules to:
- Concentrate the balances for individual accounts or within a cash pool
- Minimise the need for external financing through shared resources
Temenos Transact offers two licensing options that banks can subscribe to through the Temenos Marketplace to meet account sweeping requirements:
- Retail Sweeping: a lightweight module that offers all functionality required for retail account sweeping.
- Corporate Cash Pooling: a comprehensive module that offers the full set of account sweeping features for both retail and corporate cash pooling.
Read Retail Sweeping and Corporate Cash Pooling for more information about the features available.
